About Chris
Cambridge-based singer/ songwriter/ producer Chris Andrews takes influences from 90’s Indie bands and the melodic sounds of the Beatles and Pink Floyd. Chris’ originals capture the Britpop sound with sweet, catchy melancholic melodies and lyrics, and fresh jangly guitar chords and riffs.
Performance highlights include supporting Tony Wright (Terrorvision) and Britpop legends Dodgy on their Homegrown 25th Anniversary Tour at Cambridge Junction towards the end of 2019. In August 2021, Chris performed at The Portland Arms in the Cambridge Band Competition as a solo act, had his last release, ‘Subtraction‘, get to number 1 in the Cambridge 105 Unsigned Chart towards the end of last year and had an interview and radio play on Star Radio in November.
Chris continues to build his profile in and around Cambridge after a busy end to 2021, currently performing regularly at a number of venues and events, and is working on new studio material for release later in the year.
