About Chris

Cambridge-based singer-songwriter, musician and producer Chris Andrews draws influence from 90s indie and Britpop alongside the melodic sounds of artists including The Beatles and Pink Floyd. His original music combines catchy, melancholic melodies with jangly guitars, strong hooks and an unmistakably British alternative sound.

Chris is also an experienced live performer and host, performing regularly across Cambridge and the surrounding area at pubs, venues, private events and festivals. Career highlights include supporting Dodgy at Cambridge Junction on their Homegrown 25th Anniversary Tour, supporting Tony Wright of Terrorvision, performing alongside Noasis on several occasions, appearing at Strawberry Fair, and reaching No. 1 on the Cambridge Radio Unsigned Chart with his original music.

Alongside his own performances, Chris hosts regular live music and open mic events, with a particular focus on creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering high-quality live sound for performers. His wider work includes music production, live sound and creative workshops, including workshops for the University of Cambridge.

Chris continues to perform, write and produce original music while developing new live events and creative projects across Cambridge and beyond.
